Business community urged to back Latics

Latics are seeking further support from the business community during, and after, these unprecedented times for professional football

BUSINESS Development Manager Jamie Stoddart has urged businesses both close to home and from afar to back Latics off the field as the coronavirus crisis continues to hit revenue streams.

Although it’s been revealed by the club that there has been a ‘steady increase’ in iFollow Latics stream subscriptions, fans not being allowed inside the Boundary Park stadium on match-days is obviously having an effect.

Mr Stoddart and everyone at Latics is clearly seeking further support from the business community during, and after, these unprecedented times for professional football.

In a commercial update posted on the Latics website, Mr Stoddart said: “Our relationships with business owners and the business community locally and regionally have never been more important to us, and commercial income is imperative in our quest to survive and ultimately grow the football club.”

In the message, Mr Stoddart offers further details on stadium sponsorship, kit sponsorship, perimeter and in-stadia advertising opportunities.

He added: “We have availability on every level for sponsorship or partnerships with Latics and with what we have to offer, we believe there is an entry point for all businesses, be it this season or next.

“We are all aware of the current situation in football and particularly in the EFL, so we very much need and welcome the support of fans and local businesses.

“With an unbelievably passionate fan base and a team playing on the front foot and scoring goals, Oldham Athletic are a great vehicle to advertise your brand and tell the world your story.”
