Oldham Festival for Business 2021 Event

The month-long festival started this week and on Monday 13 September a series of events are taking place.
If you’re looking for start up advice or business support why not attend? It’s a chance for you to meet with specialist business organisations to get advice on starting or growing your business. Monday’s events all take place at The Eastern Pavilion, Featherstall Road South, and are as follows: 

Business Breakfast 
Join Oldham Council leader Cllr Arooj Shah and the council’s Chief Executive, Harry Catherall at this breakfast event. Cllr Shah will discuss her visions and priorities for the borough – and the opportunities for local businesses. Harry will outline how the council is delivering them and supporting Oldham’s economy to recover from the pandemic. The breakfast event runs from 8am–10am and is free to attend but places are very limited and will be allocated on a first-come-first served basis. Business Expo 2021 
The event is aimed at at those looking to start a business or those already in business. More than 40 local organisations will be exhibiting to showcase themselves. They will be joined by representatives from the local business support offer. This Oldham Council’s dedicated business support team and our Get Oldham Working service, which helps local people into jobs and provides free recruitment support for Oldham-based businesses.
The Expo runs from 11am–4pm and is a great opportunity to network and create new opportunities for your business. You can drop in at any time during the event – no registration required. Contact kashif@ashraf.co.uk for more information.

#BusinessHeroes Celebration Dinner 
Tickets are still available for the Oldham Festival of Business annual dinner. The dinner which is celebrating our local #BusinessHeroes will be held in support of the Mayors Appeal Fund at the same venue from 6pm. 
Alongside the dinner, the event will be a chance for you to network and support the Mayors Appeal Fund via the charity auction/raffle.
